Very boaty, Beverly.
Beverly Andrighetti: I would have to agree,Ray.
This is a great tribute to the old gal. I really love the overall blue cast to your background and framing!
Beverly Andrighetti: I took this from a hand-painted delft blue plate I own, Elizabeth. Didn't know the history of this ship until I googled it.
this has a Dutch feel to it, Delfts blue
Beverly Andrighetti: You guessed correctly, Chantal. This image was created from a hand-painted blue Delft plate that I have in my collection.

A piece of history
Beverly Andrighetti: A history I wasn't aware of until I googled it, Chris.
The hard and now perceived as cruel things of the past.
Beverly Andrighetti: Quite so, Martin, although, contrary to International condemnation, the Japanese are still whaling.
A wonderful tribute Beverly!
Beverly Andrighetti: Very much appreciated, Richard. Thank you.
This reminds me of Delft china.
Beverly Andrighetti: It is Delft china, Mary. I took the image from a Delft blue china plate that I have in my collection.
A fine piece of art but an industry that perhaps is not one to be proud of?
Beverly Andrighetti: Indeed, Bill. So disappointed that the Japanese are still at it.
I like the way it looks like a porthole Bev. I gather it's one of your fine plates
Nicely presented Beverly!
