... A good plan. A nice photo.
Beverly Andrighetti: Thanks, Jacquelyn. The cupboard was full and we had plenty of liquid nourishment so we were content to stay put until the worse was over.
wonderful shot Bev... you had to go out the back door to frame this one....petersmile
Beverly Andrighetti: No, the back door was in this same state, Peter. When I said I was staying indoors, I meant it, haha. I shot this from my bedroom window which is on an angle from the front door.

Oh, wow. I heard it was happening, Beverly. Make the most of it, of course, and stay warm!
Beverly Andrighetti: Thank you, Ginnie. Yes, we are staying snug and warm and enjoying the lovely winter scene that surrounds us. When the streets are plowed and the sidewalks cleared, we'll come out of hibernation and venture forth.
Good idea Beverly! Stay warm and safe!!! Love this image!
Beverly Andrighetti: Thank you. We'll take your advice, Elizabeth. I believe the Northeast & Midwest sections of the U.S. got hit with the same storm, perhaps even worse than we did.

I don't blame you!
Beverly Andrighetti: We're waiting until the roads are cleared before we venture forth, Chris.
for me this qualifies for one of the best of 2012
Beverly Andrighetti: What a wonderful compliment, Chantal. Thank you very much.

I bet it is so warm behind that door, Beverly
Beverly Andrighetti: Lots of warmth, Lisl, with plenty to eat and drink and a full appreciation of Mother Nature's power.
Excellent shot. Staying indoors was a good idea, I think. We got only a couple of inches. Enough that we have to shovel but it is above zero so it will not last long.
Beverly Andrighetti: I thought you might get the full brunt of it too, Mary. Our shoveling days are over I'm happy to say. I know it is great exercise but we have hired a plowing service to clear our driveway whenever we have a snowfall.
Don't blame you either Beverly, I believe it has been quite bad through quite a swathe of the USA.
Beverly Andrighetti: We digging out and should be back to normal soon, Brian. Yes, I believe the same storm hit the northeast states pretty hard, too.
A wise idea - but it is good that you came out long enough to take the pic!
Beverly Andrighetti: I didn't need to leave the house, Tom. I shot this from my bedroom window.
