I love your treatment on this Beverly - it's a wonderful statue, but all the smooth silver you've surrounded him with really makes it!
Beverly Andrighetti: I'm pleased that you like it, Elizabeth. Thank you very much.
Strangely made me think of the quicksand I was reading about before I went to sleep last night. I do like that piece and with your expert finishing, a pleasure to see.
Beverly Andrighetti: It's funny what an image can bring to mind, Mary. Thank you very much for your kind comment.

Oh Gormley's work is so easily identifiable Beverly. I have not seen this before so thank you for showing it.
Beverly Andrighetti: This work really caught my eye, Chad. Pleased that I could show it for you.
Looks like he needs the toilet grin I like Gormley's work
Beverly Andrighetti: Haha, yes, his stance does look rather like that, Bill.

This came to mind when I saw your beautiful picture.
Love your presentation.
Beverly Andrighetti: I can see how you would make the connection, Astrid. Thanks so much for the link and kind comments.
Gormley is exploiting these Angels/men to the point of irritation, a recipe I find very boring, but it is good that you bring the image smile
Beverly Andrighetti: This was a work I'd never seen before, Juan Carlos. I was happy to have my camera with me.

I do like that Gormley and hope to one day see his work with my own eyes, Beverly. This is a fine tribute to him!
Beverly Andrighetti: Thank you very much. It really made me stop and take notice, Ginnie. I'll certainly be on the lookout for more of his work from now on.
