They are quite brave! I love your frosted edges and framing!
Beverly Andrighetti: This was their daily routine, Elizabeth, regardless of the weather.

Hopefully with spiked shoes!
Beverly Andrighetti: Not sure about the spikes, Chris, but I'm sure their boots have good traction.

How wonderful that they have each other, Beverly. I especially love how bright and cheerful she is in the elements. It would melt any ice before her! smile
Beverly Andrighetti: What lovely sentiments, Ginnie. Thank you.

Lovely presentation. If they were my old folks, they would have had a very stern talking to.
Beverly Andrighetti: I doubt if they would have listened to you, Louis, as this was a regular routine for them, no matter how bad the walking conditions were.
That looks extremely risky!
Beverly Andrighetti: I'm not sure I would try it, Bill, but they were much more adventurous.

I like this a lot! When you are a walker the weather won't stop you.
Beverly Andrighetti: It never did stop this neighbourhood couple, Mary. A robust pair for sure.

One fall, that's all it takes Beverly.
Beverly Andrighetti: Yes, so true, Chad. Luckily, there were no broken bones sustained during this walk.
nice shot Beverly..
Beverly Andrighetti: Thank you very much, Ronky.
Definitely not the wisest of things to do at their (my) age. Having just had her Hip done Maureen is dreading any slippery paths this winter.
Beverly Andrighetti: It's wise to be very careful treading on ice at any age, Brian. This elderly pair were taking precautions not to fall.
They seem to be at ease Beverly! Superb capture.
Beverly Andrighetti: This was something they did on a daily basis, Richard, regardless of the weather.

I liked the part of your image that is seen in your thumb
Beverly Andrighetti: Thank you, Richard. It seemed to be the most descriptive crop to show for the image.
Gently goes it, one slip and that's it!
Beverly Andrighetti: They were very careful, Martin.

They are well eqipped with good, waterproof boots and sticks, and they are cautiously going. I think they will well manage their walk. A fine, wintry scene you composed and framed in a beautiful way.
Beverly Andrighetti: Thank you very much, Philine. This couple walked daily in all kinds of weather so it was no surprise to see them tackle the icy streets.
