I like this almost silhouette, Beverly
Beverly Andrighetti: Thank you, Lisl. I was lucky to have caught him before he flew away.
I like the choice for silhouette
Beverly Andrighetti: Thank you very much, Chantal.
I always mark my calendar with the first redwing of the spring. My, it is early this year.
Beverly Andrighetti: I haven't spotted any redwings this winter, Mary. This was shot a couple of years ago during a visit to an Ontario conservation area near Cornwall. It was hot & humid.
This has a pleasing simplicity Beverly
Beverly Andrighetti: That's what I was aiming for, Bill. Thank you very much.

This is like one of those exotic dry arrangements.
Beverly Andrighetti: I never thought about it like that, Louis, but I can see what you mean.
simply beautiful Beverly... the harsh dead branches in contrast to the Redwing... she is announcing the coming of spring....petersmile
Beverly Andrighetti: This was taken several years ago at a conservation area in Ontario, Peter. It was summer and very hot & humid.
Terrific shot Beverly ! Love the comp - and I've always loved these birds!
Beverly Andrighetti: Thank you very much, Elizabeth. I'm thrilled whenever I spot them in the wild.
