Awe - too bad for the bride & groom!
When were you in London?
Beverly Andrighetti: It was a strange sight to see, Elizabeth. I was in England this past week. Had a fabulous time and can't wait to go back.
Drôle d'endroit pour faire une photo.
Beverly Andrighetti: C'est vrai, Martine.

Pity if their wedding was overshadowed
Beverly Andrighetti: I have no idea why they would pick that particular spot for photographs, Lisl, as there were other areas free from protesters that were available.

Well captured Bev. Some nice topical images, captured before the UK disappears down the proverbial plug-hole of history..
Beverly Andrighetti: I understand the protests, Chris, but wonder why the bride & groom would want to have their wedding photographs taken at the same spot as the protesters.
There's always somebody protesting about something or other outside parliament, I hope the bridal couple got there picures without too much disturbance.
Beverly Andrighetti: There were other areas available where protests were not happening, Brian, and yet they picked that one. Strange.
YAY for your visit to England, Beverly...and the chance to see "the good, bad, and the ugly." I guess it's everywhere these days?
Beverly Andrighetti: I saw mostly good, Ginnie. These protesters were pretty well behaved.
Glad you enjoyed your trip!
Beverly Andrighetti: I certainly did, Tom. Can't wait to go back. One week is not enough.

Some people in Britain are revolting ..and they protest, too! I often wonder what tourists think of Britain; having been t the tourist spots generally on the west coast of the North America they seem cleaner especially.
Beverly Andrighetti: Living in a country that allows you the freedom to protest is a wonderful thing, Alan. I would have no hesitation in doing another visit but for a longer time than one week.
that is quite a way to mess up a nice wedding Beverly... but free speech is important as well ....petersmile

Is it (Brexit) worth it? Only time will tell. Interesting with a wedding and a protest mixed up like that.
