Have a great day!
Beverly Andrighetti: He seemed harmless enough, Chantal. You have a great day, also.

Wow, Beverly. This is to stare at. This is a Likey for me.
Beverly Andrighetti: I am greatly honored, Ginnie. Thank you so very much.
Looks like an alien creature...where's Sigourney Weaver???
Beverly Andrighetti: Hahaha, Sigourney was no match for this alien creature, Bill.
Hi Beverly... Such a cool close shot. My sons used to love to grab their left behind shells off our fence when we lived in Kansas, USA.
Beverly Andrighetti: I haven't as yet found any left behind shells, Jacquelyn, but now I will keep my eyes open for them.
Very well captured Beverly. A fantastic macro. They are amazing insects and i just love the sound of cicadas in summertime. It is only the male that makes a sound to attract females and every cicada species has it's own distinctive call. The male rubs different parts of his body together to make a sound.
Beverly Andrighetti: I'm with you, Laurette. I love the sound they make; summer wouldn't be the same without it.
These things make a sort of clicking noise I believe, is that right Beverly.
Beverly Andrighetti: Yes, Brian, and it can get quite loud, too.
Terrific!
Beverly Andrighetti: Thank you so much, Tom.
