Beverly, fish out of water, how did you do that?? Such clarity.
Beverly Andrighetti: Thank you, Sally. For this one, I used the draw option in the Effects section offered at the PicMonkey site to paint out the background in black.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I love it, Beverly!! smile It really has a 3-D effect.
Beverly Andrighetti: Your comments are so very much appreciated, Ginnie, thank you. Isn't it strange how you can drastically change the look of an image by just eliminating the background.

Hahaha - they really are just that!
Beverly Andrighetti: Yes, they kept coming back to investigate the camera lens which I had pressed against the tank. It was so amusing to see.
very good against the black background, they seem to swim IN my mac
Beverly Andrighetti: Yes, changing the background to black seemed to make them pop out with more clarity, Chantal.
You are a marvel at manipulation. Fantastic image!
Beverly Andrighetti: Thank you very much, Mary. Funny how much you can change the look of an image by just blacking out the background.
Brilliant but they do look a bit glum have they missed feeding time ?
Beverly Andrighetti: Haha, judging by how well nourished they look, Martin, it doesn't appear as if they have missed too many feeding times.
Very good Beverly.

These guys really leap out of the black background!
Strikingly good effect, Beverly. I like using a black background behind a simple subject like this.
Sooo cute! I've always thought these guys a little odd looking... but I love your photo!!! It's terrific with them just floating on my screen!
