I always liked this replica because it's clean! A lovely, bright shot Beverly!
Beverly Andrighetti: That's the thing that stood out for me when I saw the various replicas in Vegas, Elizabeth. They all seemed to come right out of the package, clean & new. I guess it would take some time for them to take on the lovely patina of the originals.

Just when I thought you had been to Rome.... Ahhh. The next best thing?!
Beverly Andrighetti: I have been to Rome, Ginnie, and have seen the real thing. This Vegas replica is very good but, as I've said to Elizabeth, it still is a little too new to be mistaken for the original.

I thought is was the real thing!
Beverly Andrighetti: Then I was wrong, Chris. I thought it looked too new to fool anyone into thinking it was the original.
Brilliant shot. like your treatment in here
Beverly Andrighetti: So pleased you like it, Ayush. Thank you very much.

Some awesome work there.
Beverly Andrighetti: If it had a more aged look, Mary, it would probably look closer to the real thing.

I would never have guessed this fountain to be in that heathenish dessert resort. I hope the losses you suffered are manageable.

[heh, heh]

or are you buying the new Mk 1D?

Oh well, your great presentation skills had some of us thinking it is the real mccoy.
Beverly Andrighetti: The heathenish dessert resort has replicated many European statues, fountains and landmarks, Louis, but I doubt if you would be fooled into thinking they were the real thing.

Yes, my losses were manageable. I budgeted twenty U.S. dollars for gambling and when that was blown, I stopped.

I'll have to check out the Mk 1D.

A gorgeous replica - but more illusion than reality! We are in Las Vegas, but I have to say never to have been there.
