Wooden carvings amaze me! Where did you find this one?
Beverly Andrighetti: I saw this in an Arizona handicrafts store, Elizabeth. Don't know the name of the place but it was on route to the Grand Canyon. Our bus made a stop there on our return trip to Vegas.

This is charming Bev
Beverly Andrighetti: It really caught my eye, Chris. Thank you.
What a funny little Indian
Beverly Andrighetti: Not so little, Chantal. I would say it was at least five feet tall.

This is such a wonderful carving. Is it yours and where did you find it?
Last night we saw the movie Windtalkers, a true story about Navajo Indians helping out during WWII with their language, called the code. Nobody ever broke the code and many soldiers lives were saved by it.
Beverly Andrighetti: This carving was standing near the door of an Arizona store selling handicrafts, Astrid. Our bus had stopped there on our way back from the Grand Canyon to Las Vegas. That movie sounds like something I would love to watch.

Looking at this I would never have guessed it was life sized Beverly.
Beverly Andrighetti: Yes, it is hard to judge its size by just looking at a photo. I would say it was at least five feet in height.
An interesting bit of hand crafting
Beverly Andrighetti: It would be interesting to see other works done by the same artist, Martin.
Wow Beverly...what a fella!
It is a wonderfully expressive face Beverly
I like his expression Beverly! A very nice presentation.
