This bench has seen better days but is built to last forever!
Beverly Andrighetti: Yes, it would certainly take a lot of rear-ends to wear down the surface of this bench, Chris. Wonder how old it was when I took this shot.
I love it
Beverly Andrighetti: Thank you. Nice to look at, Chantal, but probably not so comfortable to sit on.

Sitting for too long is bad for one Beverly, so this is an ideal bench to ensure people do not sit beyond a reasonable time.
Beverly Andrighetti: Excellent deduction, Chad, and probably one they took into consideration when they installed it.

I love your observation! Lol at Chad! It is a kind of respect that nobody mentions the certain bench we all know.
Beverly Andrighetti: Thank you very much. Haha, Chad is always looking out for our best interests, Philine. It seems Brian doesn't have the respect that others do in not mentioning a certain bench.

It won't rot and it would be difficult to steal. That's the good part. I think it is gorgeous and would love one in 'island red' please.
Beverly Andrighetti: You could probably construct one of your own if you were allowed to remove some of those wonderful flat sandstone rocks that you find piled up along the South Shore, Mary.
That looks even more uncomfortable than Chris Phillip's bench, if that's possible!
Beverly Andrighetti: It may be very uncomfortable, Brian, but the good thing is that you don't have to remove splinters from your bottom when you get up.
I think I would just sit on the grass grin

Does it tempt you to "rest a while", Beverly?
Yeh,there is only one winner in this contest,Beverley. A great bench, all the same.
Well spotted and captured Beverly! Many people must have been sitting there...
very inspiring contrasts here Bev
It's probably an antique instrument of torture from the days of the Spanish Inquisition smile
And I love the crispness of the image..!!
