Very smart & alert
Beverly Andrighetti: He certainly was, Chris. I believe he was just getting ready to take off again.
There were less than usual waxwings in my trees this spring. One of my favorite birds. Nice shot with the similar coloured background and framing.
We didn't have that many either, Mary. They came and went quickly; I was lucky to get a few shots in before they disappeared.
